Lorain Soil & Water Conservation District Board members are Ohio public officials just like the governor, mayors, and township trustees. The Board of Supervisors is the governing body for the district as prescribed in the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 1515. There are five board members; must be 18 years old or older and reside in the district. Supervisor elections are held every year for a three-year term. The Board of Supervisors are dedicated local volunteers. This is not a paid position.
