Lorain Soil & Water Conservation District Board members are Ohio public officials just like the governor, mayors, and township trustees. The Board of Supervisors is the governing body for the district as prescribed in the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 1515. There are five board members; must be 18 years old or older and reside in the district. Supervisor elections are held every year for a three-year term. The Board of Supervisors are dedicated local volunteers. This is not a paid position.

BOARD MEETINGS
The Lorain Soil & Water Conservation District has scheduled monthly Board meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the District office. June and July meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. The August meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 6:00 p.m. at the Soil & Water barn at the fairgrounds. All meetings are open to the public, meeting times are subject to change. Please contact the District office for questions about time or the agenda.
